About Me
I'm a data and graphics journalist based in New York with experience in political, business and climate change reporting. I'm due to graduate with a master's degree in data analysis and visualization from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism in December 2025.
I grew up in Tokyo, Japan, and studied in the U.K. After a short stint covering sports, I reported on Brexit for Japan's biggest business daily The Nikkei and Nikkei Asia in Japanese and English from London.
